I played a show at Lagunitas Brewing Co. last night, and it was so much fun! 

What a really cool brewery and they literally treated us like kings and queens.  Cute little stage too... 

I had read an article about this company purchasing my beloved New Castle beer. And, I was like...hmmmmm...is that the brewery I am playing at?  Lo and behold...it was. 

If you know me, you know that New Castle is my all-time favorite beer.  It's like the most amazing golden honey that has fallen from the heavens to my taste buds. 

I was very disheartened to hear that they were changing the recipe due to the buyout of the brand. 

I got to try the new recipe last night, and it is PERFECT!  It didn't change all that much. 

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD.....they literally sent me home with BOXES OF IT! And other spoils as well... 

On to the last show in Chicago tonight at Uncommon Ground, a listening room at the first (maybe only) organic brewery in Illinois.  Then, we will head to Wisconsin for the last show and home on Sunday.
